ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Retention is a difficult and often contentious issue for both schools and parents. Does repeating a grade help or hurt struggling students? Which students are likely to be retained? Jill Cannon will discuss the impact of early grade retention on student achievement.

This research is supported with funding from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Lunch will be provided and there is no charge to attend. Pre-registration is requested.
