A. Marisa Chun, a former prosecutor at the US Department of Justice, is a partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP. Based in the firmís Silicon Valley office, she focuses on commercial and intellectual property litigation and white-collar criminal defense matters. She represents clients in the courts and in investigations across a broad range of industries, including technology, energy, health care, life sciences, manufacturing, and retail. She served as deputy associate attorney general at the Department of Justice from 2009 to 2013 and focused on intellectual property, antitrust, fraud, telecommunications, and privacy matters. Previously, she was a litigation partner at the San Francisco firm of Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP and was outside counsel to PPIC. She joined PPICís board of directors
in 2015. She has served as a mediator for the US District Court for the Northern District of California, president of the Korean American Bar Association of Northern California, and a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs. She has a law degree from Harvard Law School and a BA from Yale University.
