California Preschool-age Children by County
This data set contains county-level estimates of the number of three year olds and the number of four year olds by their eligibility for free or reduced price meals (income under 185% of the federal poverty level). Annual family income reported in the California sample of the American Community Survey (ACS) is used to compute these estimates. The dataset also provides a 90% margin of error for these estimates. The authors’ calculations are from the 2012-2014 ACS.
