ABOUT THE PROGRAM
PPIC’s tenth annual Statewide Survey on Californians and the Environment examines Californians’ views on climate change and energy policy, and opinions on the response to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The survey also examines perceptions of global warming, attitudes toward regulating greenhouse gas emissions, and preferences for specific emissions and energy policies. Also included are approval ratings of the governor and president on their handling of environmental issues. Following the presentation of the survey findings, there will be a panel of environmental policy experts including key members of the legislative staff.

This study was conducted with funding from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Lunch will be provided and there is no charge to attend. Pre-registration is requested.
