ABOUT THE PROGRAM
As the state’s economy becomes increasingly reliant on highly skilled workers, California stands to face a shortage of almost a million college educated workers by 2025. Report author Hans Johnson will discuss ways to bridge this education-skills gap with modest investments in programs aimed at improving college attendance rates, transfer rates from community colleges to four-year institutions, and graduation rates at four-year institutions.
