Mac Taylor

Mac Taylor is the legislative analyst of the State of California, charged with providing nonpartisan fiscal and policy advice and analysis to the California State Legislature. He served as deputy legislative analyst from 1990 to 2008, as principal program analyst in the policy issues and general government sections from 1983 to 1990, and as a program analyst in the revenue and taxation section from 1979 to 1983. He holds a master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University.
