Managing California’s Water: From Conflict to Reconciliation

Date:February 24, 2011
Time:9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Location:Sheraton Grand Sacramento - Magnolia Room
Sacramento, CA

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Current water policies have not met diverse and growing demands for water supply reliability and quality, flood protection, or ecosystem health. The result is heightening conflict among competing parties. To move toward sustainable water management, California should consider a wide-ranging set of reforms. This half-day event, coinciding with the release of a new PPIC report, Managing California's Water: From Conflict to Reconciliation, brings together the authors and other noted water experts to discuss key elements of water policy reform.
