Live landline and cell phone interviews were conducted in English and Spanish according to the respondents’ preferences. Interviews took an average of 18 minutes to complete. Interviewing took place on weekend days and weekday nights October 12-21, 2018. The October 2018 sampling error for the 989 likely voters, taking design effects from weighting into consideration, is ±4.2 percent. Sampling error is only one type of error to which surveys are subject. Results may also be affected by factors such as question wording, question order, and survey timing.
