ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Two electoral reforms—a new “top two” primary and the redrawing of legislative districts—make the June primary an election to watch. First, PPIC Policy Fellow Eric McGhee will talk about how these reforms played out. Then, Secretary of State Debra Bowen will join PPIC President and CEO Mark Baldassare for a conversation about how to engage more Californians in the state’s elections and policymaking.
