Folsom, California, USA – March 30, 2015: A lone steelhead drifts languidly through the shallow water of Nimbus Dam. Normally this time of year this hydroelectric dam on the American River above Sacramento is busy releasing snow melt from the Sierras. California, now in its fourth year of drought, is seeing no end in sight and a continued lack of water threatens fisheries and wildlife.
