Natural Resource Budget Data, 1978-2001

This data set includes revenues and expenditures for natural resource programs, by government department, as funded in the California budget.  The revenue data are disaggregated by funding source (e.g., state general funds, special and other funds, bond funds, and federal funds).  For a discussion of spending priorities for natural resource activities and how they have changed over time, based on these data, see California’s Natural Resource Programs: Where Does the Money Come From and Where Does It Go?
