February 26, 2021 · 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

ONLINE-ONLY EVENT

About the Program

How is the California State University addressing major ongoing challenges, from the pandemic and its economic impact to persistent concerns about racial equity? Recently appointed CSU Chancellor Joseph I. Castro will join PPIC President and CEO Mark Baldassare for a wide-ranging conversation about short- and long-term priorities for higher education in California.

As part of our Speaker Series on California’s Future, PPIC invites leaders to participate in public conversations. The purpose is to give Californians a better understanding of how our leaders are addressing the challenges facing our state.

PPIC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. PPIC does not take or support positions on any ballot measure or on any local, state, or federal legislation, nor does it support, endorse, or oppose any political parties or candidates for public office. Any opinions expressed by event participants are theirs alone and do not necessarily reflect any position of the Public Policy Institute of California.
