ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This event provides an opportunity to hear California’s top budget leaders preview the issues involved in the upcoming state budget debate. This debate is likely to feature sharp differences over the need for higher taxes as well as difficult discussions about cutting back on valuable services such as education. It is also expected to bring new attention to the need for long-term budget solutions. Panel members will discuss these issues in the context of a new PPIC Statewide Survey on the California budget.
