about the program
Governor Schwarzenegger and legislative leaders want voters to approve more than $37 billion in bonds to shore up the state’s aging transportation system, provide more affordable housing, finance school improvements, and address flood concerns.

Please join the Public Policy Institute of California and the New America Foundation for a provocative discussion that will help voters understand the stakes and issues involved in the bond decisions they will make on the November 7th ballot.  This is a valuable opportunity to hear about this issue from both sides of the debate, from party leaders, local officials, and independent experts.
