Fiscal Realities for Local Government
2020 Speaker Series on California's Future — Virtual Event
About the Program
Local governments have been hit especially hard during the pandemic shutdown and resulting economic instability. How will they set priorities among competing needs? How can they partner with state and federal governments to chart a path forward? Join us for a conversation with local leaders from around the state.
As part of our Speaker Series on California’s Future, PPIC invites elected leaders from across the political spectrum to participate in public conversations. The purpose is to give Californians a better understanding of how our leaders are addressing the challenges facing our state.
PPIC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. PPIC does not take or support positions on any ballot measure or on any local, state, or federal legislation, nor does it support, endorse, or oppose any political parties or candidates for public office.
Are there videos of PPIC events?
Yes, we record most of our events and make the video available on the PPIC event page within a couple days of the event.
Do you accept walk-in registration at PPIC events?
We accept walk-ins as room capacity permits. If you have questions about a specific event, contact Kelly Holt at firstname.lastname@example.org.
