ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This briefing is the third in a series on "California's Fiscal Future," that takes a look at current and long-term economic issues for the state. Meeting California's infrastructure needs will be expensive, but it is a crucial element in the state's long-term growth and development. Yet the odds facing the state seem almost insurmountable -- a national recession, the state's budget crisis, and a flawed system for financing the state's infrastructure.

This study was conducted with funding from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. This event is co-sponsored with the California Research Bureau. Lunch will be provided and there is no charge to attend.
