ABOUT THE PROGRAM
In the first weeks of Governor Brown’s term, the PPIC Statewide Survey gauges Californians’ views on the governor’s proposals for resolving the state budget deficit, calling a special election, and realigning state and local government responsibilities. Following a presentation of the survey findings, a bipartisan panel will discuss the far-reaching issues raised by these proposals, with a particular focus on the question of realignment.
