Skyrocketing tuition and fees, a weak economy, and increasing student debt—are the costs of going to college still outweighed by the benefits? Is college becoming less affordable, even as our economy requires greater numbers of highly educated workers? PPIC Bren fellow Hans Johnson will present new findings on student debt and the value of a college degree, and a panel of education leaders will discuss the future of higher education in the state.
