Cecilia Aguiar-Curry

California State Assembly

Cecilia Aguiar-Curry represents California’s 4th Assembly District, which includes Napa, Lake, Yolo, Colusa and part of Sonoma County. Early in her career, she launched a consulting firm that specialized in public outreach with government agencies. Later, in Winters, she served as planning commissioner and then was elected to the city council, eventually serving as the first female mayor of Winters. As mayor she worked to improve local schools, brought broadband internet to rural communities, built senior housing, and helped the area to become an agricultural and food innovation hub for the region. She earned a degree in business administration from San Jose State University.
