Dean Logan

Dean Logan is the registrar-recorder/county clerk for Los Angeles County–the nation’s largest, most diverse local election jurisdiction, serving more than 5.8 million registered voters. He is a board member and past president of the California Association of Clerks and Election Officials and a member of the board of directors for the National Election Center. He sits on advisory boards for the MIT Election Data and Science Lab; Auburn University’s Graduate Certificate in Election Administration; and the Design Thinking Executive Program at the University of California, Riverside. He teaches organizational leadership, public sector management, strategic management, and intergovernmental relations at the California State University, Northridge Master of Public Administration program, as well as serving on the advisory board. He holds degrees in organizational leadership from Azusa Pacific University and a master’s of public administration from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington.
