Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh

Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh is a California State Senator, representing the 19th State Senate District; she became the first Republican Latina elected to the California State Senate in November 2020, representing nearly one million residents in Senate District 23. She was re-elected in November 2024 for the newly drawn 19th Senate District. She serves on eight committees, including as vice chair for Education and Human Services. She advocates for stronger schools, lower taxes, improved infrastructure, and affordable housing. Prior to her Senate career, she worked as a teacher, real estate agent, and school board member, and led the Yucaipa Valley Chamber of Commerce. She earned her BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
