Vice President of People and Culture
Sandra Ruiz is vice president of people and culture at PPIC. She focuses on delivering people-centered human resources support and promoting a workplace culture of connectedness and belonging. As an experienced, strategic human resources practitioner, she applies insights learned from over 15 years of leadership experience working with mission-driven organizations such as the Greenlining Institute and La Clínica de La Raza, where she has implemented organization-wide strategies to support staff engagement and build higher levels of trust. She has been certified as a senior human resources professional by the Society for Human Resources. She received her BA in Chicano studies and BS in psychology from University of California, Berkeley, as well as an MS in organizational psychology from San Francisco State University.
