Latinos1(45%)1are1the1most1likely1racial/ethnic1group1to1consider1regional1air1pollution1a1big1 problem,1followed1by1blacks1(36%),1whites1(29%),1and1Asians1(24%).11Overall,1351percent1of1the1 state?s1residents1say1regional1air1pollution1is1a1big1problem,1a1perception1that1has1declined161points1 since12006.11Still,1many1residents1believe1air1quality1in1their1region1has1worsened1over1the1past1101 years,1a1perception1more1widely1held1by1Latinos1(62%)1than1blacks1(49%),1Asians1(46%),1and1whites1 (39%).11In1the1eight,county1San1Joaquin1Valley1region,1561percent1of1residents1consider1air1pollution1 a1big1problem,1including1621percent1of1whites1and1501percent1of1Latinos.11Two1in1three1San1Joaquin1 Valley1Latinos1(67%)1and1whites1(65%)1say1air1quality1has1worsened1in1the1past1101years.1 ? ? ?
