PPIC Statewide Survey: Californians and Education

Key findings of the latest survey include: The California Legislature is considering a school facilities bond for the November ballot; about half of likely voters say they would vote yes on such a measure. A similar share would vote yes on a local school bond. About eight in ten public school parents see catching up academically or addressing the pandemic’s social-emotional impact as the biggest K–12 challenge. Majorities think local public schools are preparing students well for college and career.
