About the Program
Recent California legislation has expanded dual enrollment programs—in which high schoolers take college classes—and has enacted reforms for assessing and placing students in English and English as a Second Language (ESL). PPIC researcher Rachel Yang Zhou will discuss a new report that explores the changes to dual enrollment implementation, participation, and outcomes in English and ESL—especially among underrepresented students.
This research and event are supported with funding from California Community Foundation and the Gates Foundation.
