About the Program

The 2020 Census is fast approaching. With political representation and billions in federal funds on the line for California, the importance of an accurate count cannot be overstated. Is the Inland Empire prepared? This panel will explore the opportunities and challenges of the 2020 Census for the region, assessing readiness and discussing the implications of these efforts for expanding civic engagement in the future.

Please register in advance. There is no charge to attend, but space is limited. Breakfast will be provided. Go to Lot 24 for free parking.

This event is co-hosted by the Center for Social Innovation at UC Riverside, the California Complete Count Committee, and the Public Policy Institute of California.

PPIC’s Census 2020 activities are supported with funding from the California Community Foundation, the California Endowment, the California Health Care Foundation, Silicon Valley Community Foundation, and Sunlight Giving.
