About the Program
California’s school funding formula has boosted funding for high-need students and increased district autonomy. While student outcomes have improved, schools still face fiscal and academic challenges. PPIC researchers will discuss key findings from a new report exploring how tweaks to the funding system could affect state spending and district allocations, highlighting the trade-offs involved.
This research and event are supported with funding from the Stuart Foundation and the William T. Grant Foundation.
