Eddie Ocampo

Eddie Ocampo is director of public affairs at Self-Help Enterprises, where he sits on the executive team. He also serves as chair of the San Joaquin Valley Water Blueprint. He has over 25 years of experience in the not-for-profit and public sectors, with expertise in strategic planning, community development, state and federal legislation facilitation, government operations, and organizing and collaborating with rural stakeholders, communities, and schools to identify water and wastewater systems’ needs and solutions. He works collaboratively with partners to promote impactful community development and public affairs policy strategies to improve the lives of the communities in California’s San Joaquin Valley. He brings this experience to the PPIC Water Policy Center Advisory Council. His educational credentials include a master’s degree in public administration, a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology, and a PhD in human and social sciences.
