Some findings of the current survey:
- A majority of Californians support the governor’s revised budget proposal, and there is overwhelming support for his plan to give extra funding to school districts with more disadvantaged students.
- Most Californians favor allowing immigrants living in the U.S. illegally to stay; half say these immigrants should be allowed to apply for citizenship.
- Californians’ support for same-sex marriage has reached a new high (56%).
