Jui Shrestha

Survey Specialist Consultant

World Bank

Jui Shrestha is a survey specialist consultant for the World Bank’s South Asia Poverty and Equity global practice. Her work addresses data collection and measurement issues. She has supported large-scale household surveys for the World Bank such as the Nepal Living Standards Survey and the Household Risk and Vulnerability Survey. Additionally, she has worked on enterprise surveys and public opinion polls for projects in South Asia, Africa, and the United States, working with organizations such as the Asia Foundation and the Public Policy Institute of California. She represents Nepal in both the World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) and its Asia Chapter (WAPOR-Asia). Previously, she served on the executive council of the Pacific Chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (PAPOR). She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut’s Masters in Public Administration program with a concentration in survey research, and holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from Colby College.
