Statewide Survey: Californians and the Environment

About the Program
A longtime leader on environmental policy, California is now attempting to reduce the emissions that cause climate change and lessen their effects. What are the major challenges and how do Californians feel about the state’s plans to address them? PPIC research associate Sonja Petek will discuss the latest PPIC survey on Californians and the Environment, which examines perceptions of global warming, levels of support for emission reduction measures, and opinions on a range of energy policy issues.

This research is supported with funding from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
