Statewide Survey: Californians and Education

Virtual Event

April 16, 2026 · 11:00 am - 11:30 am

About the Program

California voters will make decisions this year that impact their public schools. In addition to gauging voter preferences in key primary races, PPIC’s latest survey tracks views of the TK–12 system, local schools, and policies such as universal transitional kindergarten and a measure that would extend a temporary tax on high incomes to fund education and health care. Survey analyst Deja Thomas will outline key findings and answer audience questions.

This event is supported with funding from the PPIC Business Council and the PPIC Golden State Society. The survey was supported with funding from the Arjay R. and Frances F. Miller Foundation, the Stuart Foundation, and the Windy Hill Fund.
