ABOUT THE PROGRAM
PPIC’s annual Statewide Survey on Californians and Higher Education is the fourth to look at Californians’ views of their public colleges and universities. With substantial fiscal challenges as a backdrop, the survey looks at Californians’ opinions of the three higher education branches and issues related to their funding, including affordability, and adequacy and efficiency of state funding. It also examines the importance that Californians place on college education, higher education’s role in California’s future, and their hopes and concerns for their children’s college careers.
