Mollyann Brodie

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Mollyann Brodie is senior vice president for executive operations and executive director for public opinion and survey research at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. She is responsible for all aspects of the foundation’s public opinion survey efforts, including the monthly Kaiser Health Tracking poll, the foundation’s work on American attitudes toward global health policy, and ongoing survey partnerships with media organizations, including the Washington Post, the New York Times, and NPR. Her efforts focus on understanding public opinion and knowledge on health care policy issues, and the role of opinion in health policy debates. She is also responsible for the foundation’s executive operations, including directing the president’s office and supporting the activities of the board of trustees and board committees. Her research has been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association; New England Journal of Medicine; Journal of Health Politics, Policy, and Law; and Health Affairs. She coedited American Public Opinion and Health Care, published by CQ Press in 2011. In addition to serving on the PPIC Statewide Survey Advisory Committee, she is president of the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR). She holds a PhD in health policy and an MS in health policy and management from Harvard University.
